Low Profile Roof Top Tent Mount | Toyota Landcruiser LC76

Are you looking for a solution to mount your roof top tent, but keep it seem-less and slim looking?

The Low profile roof top tent mount has been specifically designed to keep the weight lower to the roof, to balance out your centre of gravity, help keep wind drag down & improve the overall aesthetic of your rig. This fits both the pre-facelift & facelift 76 series landcruiser.

The low profile design only adds approximately 50mm of overall height to the roof, with a 15mm clearance under your cross members. The rail spacing is set to 550mm centre to centre, making it ideal for supporting the roof top tent & for mounting to the existing rails underneath.

Weight Rating

Our roof top tent mounts are designed to withstand loads exceeding the weight limit of your vehicle.

Please refer to your owners manual or vehicle manufacturer to determine the official roof load capacity (static & dynamic). The total load includes the weight of the roof top tent mount and accessories.

Manufacturer static and dynamic load ratings are based on stock vehicle configuration, any after-market modifications including wheels, tyres and suspension upgrades can greatly affect the stability of the vehicle when carrying roof mounted loads.

Users should apply appropriate safety margins, especially for off-road use where dynamic forces are increased.

If you’re stacking gear on your roof, knowing these two limits is the difference between smooth sailing and a gear-overboard moment.

Dynamic Roof Load

This is the maximum weight your roof can handle while you’re driving. It factors in the extra forces from braking, cornering, and acceleration. Go over this, and you risk damaging your rig or losing your load.

Static Roof Load

This is the maximum your roof can hold while parked. Usually higher than the dynamic limit, it matters when loading or unloading, or when your roof is doing “camp duty”.
